Daisy stopped when Selene spun around to face her. Her brow raised but she remained silent as Selene hissed at her, scolding her for speaking about things she didn’t know about. Sure, that was true. Daisy didn’t know the circumstances, but she never claimed to understand the circumstances. “You were the best Death Dealer the coven had.” She responded, somehow remaining calm despite the fear that entered her. The way Selene spoke to her terrified her. It was almost as if she expect Selene to kill her on the spot for her words. “I never said my slate was clean, that I was pure. I was, and am, a killer. That’s all I’ve known for 300 years. I am not saying we are anything but that. I will come with you if it’s a Death Dealer you require.” Her eyes were blue as well, but hers were out of fear more-so than anything else. Her face was a little pale and while her hands were in her pockets, she was keeping them from shaking. She refused to show fear to Selene.

the vampire before her is smart not to lash out in rage, and though daisy’s eyes too go azure, a part of selene knows it isn’t out of anger… rather, it’s a sign that she’s stepping down, only if out of necessity. pleased enough with such a fact, the vampire elder calms herself enough so that orbs go back to their normal brown as she gives a slight nod.   ❛ we’d like you to train the cadets. there is no immediate threat, but the lycans will only regroup and attack as they always have. it’s inevitable. ❜   despite the fact selene wishes to build their own army up, she’s more than willing to work out a treaty, should the lycans ever hear her out. however, she doubts they ever will. straightening up once more, the vampire will look daisy over one last time before turning around and beginning to walk again.
